The ASEAN-China Free Trade Agreement (ACFTA) creates the world’s 3rd largest free trade area and the largest in Asia Pacific. The ACFTA provides for zero tariffs on 90% of products traded between China and ASEAN from 1 January 2010. The China-Singapore FTA (CSFTA) is the first comprehensive bilateral Free Trade Agreement concluded by China with an Asian country. From 1 January 2010, China eliminated tariffs for more than 7,400 products under the CSFTA. This covers 95% of Singapore's exports to China.
The ACFTA and CSFTA creates vast business opportunities for Singapore enterprises; facilitates access to China and ASEAN markets covering 1.9 billion people and US$6 trillion worth of trade.
The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry and International Enterprise Singapore is pleased to invite interested companies to attend this beneficial seminar and understand the ACFTA in greater depth.
