The reality is this: The financial crisis that started as early as 2007 has entered into a far more serious phase - with no end yet in sight. The global economy will continue to be greeted by more news of turmoil, uncertainty and recessive business climates. But, an economic downturn doesn’t mean you have to “turn down” your business.
On 20 August 2009, more than 2,000 business leaders and SME decision makers will be at the Infocomm Commerce Conference (ICC) to learn and pick up “know-how” to re-evaluate their business process, re-calibrate their strategies-to-market, and re-energise their business, in a bid to navigate through the world’s worst economic storms.
Responding to the call and the need for local enterprises to take up imperative and imminent measures to gear up their business for future greater growth, the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) is committed to host the 13th presentation of the ICC event on 20 August 2009 – even though it is poised in the midst of economic turbulence.
“Cut Costs, Not IT!”, “Respond Quicker and Smarter”, and “Strive, Not Just Survive the Downturn” will be key messages we will be bringing across to local enterprises. Technology is no longer an accessory, but a critical enabler to any business. It will be a key business element for an enterprise’s future growth and sustainability – in or out of the economic crisis.
We invite you to be our partner for this initiative and help more than 2,000 local enterprises recalibrate their business strategies, infuse business sustainability and competencies in a bid to navigate through the turbulences, and energise SMEs for greater future growth.
